Pumpkin Pizza Slice
Struggling with some pizza cravings? Here is some super quick and guilt free help.
Get your hands on :
- Butternut pumpkin
- 100g of Organic cheddar
- 200g of Organic soft cheese like Camembert or Brie
- Organic tomato paste
- Salt, pepper, oregano, fresh basil and/or parsley
- Organic Olive oil
Slice the pumpkin up. 1cm thick works well. You can leave slices as round circle or cut in half. Halved is easier to pick up if planned as finger food.
Place slices on a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil and pop in the the oven. Round about 15min at 200C should do. Pumpkin needs to be cooked but not too soft.
Remove from oven and top with salt, tomato paste, soft cheese, oregano and lastly cheddar. If you want to pop some salami and/or ham on top too, I'm sure it would be extra delicious.
Place back in oven until cheese is melted and brown.
Garnish with basil or parsley.
Simple as that.
Really great as an appetizer or as finger food at a party.
